In the US press office, the week began with a pair of mentions in The Wall Street Journal. The first used our consumer green goods usage figures (a third of Americans are now willing to spend a bit more for green products) and the second referenced Mintel Comperemedia direct mail numbers for a piece about the resurgence of credit card offers. Retirement is no longer as clear-cut as it used to be, with adults choosing to work past their retirement age. Some simply don't have an option, due to lack of adequate investments, while others are still supporting their boomerang dependents, who cannot afford renting or getting on the property ladder (see Mintel's Marketing to the Boomerang Generation report). Our chocolate and germ phobia releases both proved to be huge hits featuring in the world wide media.
