At Mintel, we are looking to build and develop our network of freelance report writers who are available to work on a contract basis, primarily to complete market studies within the IrishFMCG sectors such as Food, Drink or Health & Beauty products and Household Goods categories.
Freelance report writers should have existing experience, gained in FMCG products, in the majority of the following disciplines:

Digital Production Designer
The main aim of the role is to contribute to ensuring that our clients use our content to its full extent. Creative visualisation of our content through infographics will be essential: you will be finishing and setting live all webpages, PowerPoint decks and PDFs, working in a busy B2B publishing environment.
Key responsibilities include
- managing content from draft MS Word document to published webpage
- sourcing, manipulating and managing stock and proprietary photography
- charting data and presenting business information in creative and imaginative ways
- creating professional quality PowerPoint decks
- some video editing (webinars and short video clips)
Work will be completed within clearly specified design and editorial guidelines.
Content publishes to tight schedules every working day, so schedule/traffic management is an essential skill. At any one time, there may be up to 50 pieces of editorial being managed through to publication.

Account Director, Northern Europe
We are looking for an outstanding sales-orientated Account Director to join our sales team, with B2B responsibility for a Territory across Northern Europe. Working within the food and drink sectors, you will be managing and building upon a prestigious portfolio of Mintel clients across a defined territory, as well as identifying and closing new business opportunities. Candidates should possess:

Account Manager with German and Italian - Mintel Beauty and Personal Care Team
With the continued growth and success of the Mintel Beauty and Personal Care team we are looking for an Internal Account Managers to join the team Sales Team. The focus of this role is telephone and has a pure focus of managing existing clients under the sponsorship of an Account Director, across a wide European territory.
Responsibilities:
Ownership of the complete renewal process under the directorship of the account director for a designated portfolio of accounts

Meeting an agreed renewal rate for the portfolio

Mintel Ireland - Business Development Manager
Mintel is a respected brand and an established research organisation with a strong portfolio of clients across Ireland. We currently have an opening for an ambitious business development executive to maximise the potential of our portfolio of products in Ireland with new clients.
The key responsibilities of this role can be summarised as:
- Develop a plan for attraction of new business / clients with clear priorities and action plan to meet set sales and activity targets
- Implement the plan ensuring that key activity, sales and profitability targets are metDevelop and maintain a prospect database providing full visibility of sales pipeline
- Provide regular reports on sales pipeline status
Other responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage a portfolio of existing key accounts with subscription access to Mintel products. Provide a level of service to maximise renewal opportunities and develop and upgrade client accounts with additional products as required.
- Ensure client database is updated as required.
- Work to develop potential VAR relationships with appropriate organisations
- The role may encompass on occasion support and participation in some Marketing activities such as Mintel client events and direct marketing campaigns.
Travel across Ireland (including Northern Ireland) essential although significant amount of overall activity is expected to take place in Dublin / Belfast. Occasional overnight trips to London/UK will also be required.
Candidate:
- Third level degree in business/marketing or equivalent
