Prior to joining Mintel, Ika was an Analyst for Madison Street Capital specializing in market research and data analysis on a wide array of industries, notably apparel, retail, and technology.The research identified, assessed, and cross-examined an industrys macro trends and future potential that impacted a clients business strategy and market competitiveness.
Crystal is responsible for managing Consulting projects from start to finish, these projects, include product trend studies, launch activity analysis, competitor comparison, consumer survey and store audit across food and beverages, CPG, beauty and other industries.
Crystal brings strong quantitative skills and a global perspective, having worked in China, Ireland and the UK.
Senior Financial Services Analyst
Susan has been in market research and financial services for more than twenty years. Before joining Mintel, she held positions including Director of Marketing at Fidelity Investments, and taught International Finance at Boston College. Susan has a Masters Degree in Finance and a Ph.D. in Economic Anthropology from the Ohio State University.
Senior Market Research Analyst
With degrees in Law and LatAm Politics from the Complutense University of Madrid and a masters in international business from ESIC, Jose currently specialises in researching Spanish, Mexican and Colombian FMCG and tech markets.
Prior to joining Mintel 3 years ago, Jose worked for the Spanish Foreign Trade Commission in Mexico.
Colin has worked at Cars.com for the past four years, mostly with the company’s editorial team as a consumer journalist at Cars.com, Colin has been published or sourced on Yahoo.com, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, among many other major newspapers and automotive websites.
Director of Retail Research
Richard joined Mintel in 1999 and previously headed the Retail team, overseeing the content and strategy of the retail reports. Before joining Mintel, he worked as a City analyst and as a journalist.
Social Media Analyst
As a social media analyst, Gabrielle identifies trends in online consumer behavior and provides insight on how consumers use social media to interact with brands and influence purchase decisions. She has previously worked as a researcher at Crain’s Chicago Business, where she also built the newspaper’s social media foundation.
Foodservice Category Manager
Julia headed two separate Spanish-language magazines with readerships based in Latin America.Her comprehensive food knowledge allows her to bring clients in-depth insights and solutions to a variety of issues and challenges they may be facing.
A philosophy graduate from Fu Jen Catholic University in Taipei, Sandy joined Mintel in 2012 as an Operations Executive on the Global New Products Database. Sandy primarily works developing content on new product launches for beauty in China.
She is bilingual being fluent in English and a native Mandarin speaker.
