Healthy Eating: The Positive Message

When it comes to consumers’ attitudes to healthy eating, the overriding message is one of positivity. It’s about emphasising the physical and emotional pay-off you get from eating healthily, rather than worrying about the downsides of not having a healthy diet. And particularly among younger, more affluent shoppers, there’s a recognition that eating well doesn’t mean that you have to compromise on taste or enjoyment.

In this Third Thursday session, Emma Clifford, our Associate Food and Drink Director, will talk us through this and the other key themes that have emerged from our latest research on consumer attitudes towards healthy eating. This will be followed by an open discussion between her, Jack Duckett, our Senior Lifestyles Analyst, and Kiti Soininen, our Director of Food and Drink Research.
