But with the English smoking ban just around the corner, latest research from MINTEL finds some interesting global alternatives to help kick the habit, including a squirt of hand gel, a mouth spray that brings on sickness when you light up and a nicotine replacement water. In the UK alone, the smoking cessation aids market is a multi-million pound business. This year, sales are set to break through the £100 million mark, having seen a 40% increase since 2002.
