The Second StageSecond Interview - Skills Based The second interview is with the hiring manager, and sometimes senior team members, who will hone in on the candidate’s practical skills to assess their experience level. The hiring manager will also answer detailed questions about the objectives of the role. Sales candidates will be asked to prepare a sales call role-play for the second interview, which is designed for them to be able to demonstrate their consultative sales skills. After the role-play, the interview will focus on the candidates career history and future ambitions. Research candidates are asked to complete detailed written and analytical exercises which they are invited to present to a panel of staff. Candidates are assessed on their ability to provide actionable intelligence through their analysis, together with their presentation materials and interpersonal skills. |
