  • – In the next two years, we will see consumers push back for bigger moves from companies on issues like climate change, while making ethical impacts clear and tangible; and to broadcast measurable metrics around ethics and sustainability. Consumers’ online identities will merge with real-life allowing consumers to create their true self, with multiple digital identities allowing for expression and creativity; and the digital and physical merge to allow for access and representation.

    We will also see the definition of “beauty” is undefined as consumers look to break the rules as the power of culture and tradition is realised in positivity and representation; and simplification is more desirable as consumption patterns shift with priorities.

  • – Longer term it will be interesting to witness how digital ownership will change the brand/consumer relationship as well as the concept of value; and digital experiences will become more authentic and community-based.
