Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae Rhamnoides) is the genus of sea buckthorns, deciduous shrubs in the family Elaeagnaceae, which can be cold pressed to produce pulp or oil. The Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruits are high in vitamins C and E and contain a variety of other active substances.

Among New Launches in Mintel Global New Products Database (GNPD), moisturising/hydrating and anti-aging are the most common beauty enhancing claims for products containing sea buckthorn ingredients, in addition, reducing fine lines & wrinkles and firming also have a high percentage.
