A week of variety for this week’s Mintel in the media. Starting with the long running story about women hating shopping, featured in the Daily Mail with the title “Can it really be true … women hate shopping for clothes?” All in all, a trip to the stores is a pretty depressing prospect, says market analysts Mintel. Still with the Daily Mail but this time looking at the cost of basics in your shopping basket, up 10% as elderly face the worst of food price hikes.
