WABEL DRINKS SUMMIT

WABEL DRINKS SUMMIT

November 8th, 2018 - November 9th, 2018
Tremblay-en-France, France

Wabel Drinks Summit, Europe’s leading event for private label & brands suppliers and buyers, will open its doors on November 8th, at the Hilton Hotel Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Join Jonny Forsyth, Associate Food & Drink Director at Mintel, Wabel’s Trends and Innovation partner, for insightful presentations and product demonstrations. First thing in the morning, he will introduce you to the iGeneration that is replacing the Millenials and later during the day, he will run you through what these consumers want from drinks. Find out more about the presentations below.

Forget Millennials, meet the iGeneration

“Millennial Mania” is about giving way to “iGen Obsession”. Marketers and innovators are now focusing on the so-called iGeneration (or Generation Z). This iGen cohort spans the ages of 11 to 23 and differs hugely to previous younger generations. This presentation explores the three major attitudinal and behavioural themes which define them.

What the iGeneration wants from drinks

This presentation explores how drinks companies – both alcoholic and non – can win over the challenging and exciting new iGeneration. This means capitalising on the three major themes which define their drinking behavior: a pragmatism which means drinks will have to compete on mental and physical benefits as much as price and taste; a desire for uniqueness which threatens big brand longevity; and a more global mindset which will allow drinks brands to explore more adventurous flavour opportunities.
