EcoVadis is a globally recognized independent platform that assesses companies’ environmental, social, and ethical performance. Their rigorous evaluation process measures various sustainability factors, including environmental impact, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

We believe in conducting business responsibly and ethically, ensuring that our actions have a positive impact on the environment and society. Valuing diversity, human rights and social inclusion
We prioritise partnerships and initiatives that reflect the diverse communities around us and those represented in our research. We seek out and value diverse talent and unique perspectives to drive sustainable success for our business and people.
From global inclusion training to supplier diversity, Mintel Diversity is committed to organisational change and fostering a culture where everyone feels respected, valued and empowered. To embed diversity, equity and inclusion into every part of our business, we focus our resources on four key areas: our people, our company, the marketplace, and the community.
Mintel’s employee resource groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups that are organised based on common identities, interests and backgrounds. Their goal is to support marginalised employees by providing safe spaces for listening, sharing and learning, resources for growth and development and opportunities to network and create a more inclusive workplace. From awareness campaigns, sharing circles and mentor programmes to inclusion workshops, skills training and opportunities to influence organisational decision-making, our ERGs have a seat at the table and are creating positive change for the entire Mintel community.

Mintel’s Procurement Department plays an important role in upholding supplier stewardship, ensuring an inclusive and diverse supply chain and ensuring compliance with environmental requirements. In line with our dedication to inclusive company culture, we’re committed to developing a world-class supplier diversity programme from senior management adherence to strategies and procedures.
We are in the unique position of being able to use our products and services to encourage and empower the business world to do better – including our suppliers, partners and clients. As a leader in the market intelligence industry, we pride ourselves on providing best-in-class insights and recommendations regarding what is happening in the world around us. From our global sustainability consumer research and dedicated consumer reports libraries on topics like culture, identity, LGBTQIA+ communities and ethical consumerism to Mintel Consulting projects that help brands identify corporate social responsibility, sustainability and/or ethical strategies, we see great value in the role market research plays in helping companies and brands make better, sustainable and ethical choices – for themselves and their customers.
Supporting health and wellness
We support organisations and communities that foster health and well-being through work-life balance, mindfulness, fitness and nutrition. We seek out partners that view wellness as we do – the crossroads between physical, mental and social well-being.
Mintel Wellness was created by Mintel employees for Mintel employees with the mission to empower one another in forging a workplace community that supports everyone’s holistic health. From quarterly fitness challenges, running, cycling, yoga and meditation clubs, gratitude boards and playlist recommendations to abstract art competitions, mindful eating workshops, the Mintel Cookbook and staff well-being days, there is a multitude of ways our employees find and encourage whole-body wellness.
Mintel supports and encourages its employees in the pursuit of healthy living with programmes that facilitate renewing energy supply like flexible working hours, ‘weekend jumpstarts’, hybrid and remote working (office, home and third places), monthly ‘meeting-free’ days and the day off on your birthday.
Caring for others and the planet
We believe everyone has a role to play in caring for one another and the planet – so much so, that we encourage employees to support organisations that matter to them by giving them two days of additional paid time off for volunteering. What’s more, Mintel participates in monetary donation matching to further amplify the positive impact our employees have in our local and global communities.
Mintel Gives supports employee interest and involvement in nonprofit organizations focused on elevating individuals, families, communities and small businesses, as well as facilitates employees’ charitable giving of time and financial resources through quarterly charity drives and various community engagement projects with a focus on social equality, the environment, mentorship and education.
What makes Mintel Gives so special is how the global committees brainstorm, plan and work together on ideas, initiatives and causes. Recent projects have included clothing, book, toy and school supply drives, fundraising for health awareness, cycling for crisis victims, and internship and mentoring opportunities with local schools. Mintel Gives brings together individuals from our global offices who care about the world around them and have a desire to positively affect our communities at large.
Mintel Eco was created to increase awareness and engagement among Mintel employees around the idea that small sustainability initiatives can make a big difference – from picking up trash along river banks and beaches and recycling, composting and conserving energy in our offices to growing community gardens. As we know only too well from our own research, people are looking for help and guidance to shrink their carbon footprint. It’s the mission of Mintel Eco to encourage a sharing platform so we can learn from one another and attempt to live a more sustainable life at work and at home. With the objectives of educating, collaborating and observing, Mintel has committed to Science-Based Targets within our organisation, about which we hope to be able to share updates on soon.
