GROW
GROW’s goal is to establish a broader pool of future leaders within our company. This nine-month development program provides a global cohort the opportunity to broaden their skillset, business acumen and professional network through formal workshops and informal group interactions.
Operations Academy
The Operations Academy provides development opportunities for employees globally in preparation for future roles. This six-month program will include a combination of live workshops and online learning focused on foundational business knowledge.
New Manager Program
Through this series, participants will gain the tools and confidence they need to be successful in their new managerial roles. This six-month development program is a combination of live workshops and discussion groups.
Aspiring Manager Program
This six-month series will be conducted twice per fiscal year and help employees to develop a broad range of knowledge and skills expected of people managers. This program will encourage them to put skills into practice and feel better prepared to apply for roles with people management responsibilities.
In addition to robust onboarding programs that all of our employees enter into when they start at Mintel, we also feel it is important to arm individuals with additional on-the-job training in the form of classes, workshops and virtual content.
Business Essentials
We provide workshops and training sessions that focus on strengthening skills necessary in a business environment such as conflict management, workplace productivity and problem-solving.
Communication Essentials
Where would any of us be without strong communication skills? We feel it is important to give employees a solid foundation in skills such as presentation, email communication and verbal communication.
Management
Learning to manage can be complex. From taking on your first direct report to becoming a seasoned manager with a large team, we aim to provide every leader with the skills needed to success. We offer training in areas such as change management, coaching skills and HR best practices.
Sales
Our clients are our main focus so it is imperative that we provide the right training to our commercial team. This means not only giving the team training on the products but also on emotional intelligence and our value proposition.
Research
Employees come into Mintel with varying levels of knowledge on what we do. Our objective is to expand all of our teams’ knowledge around marketing intelligence, insights, innovation and economics. We provide training and workshops that will continue to enhance skills whether you are a researcher or not.
