Mintel appoints new Food and Drink Analysts for the German market

Mintel, the leading global supplier of consumer, product and media intelligence is delighted to announce the appointment of Katya Witham and Julia Buech as Food and Drink Analysts for Germany. The appointments mark the expansion of Mintel’s consumer research and trend analysis in Germany.

Based at Mintel’s Head Quarters in London, Katya and Julia make a strategic addition to Mintel’s wider global food and drink expert analyst team, providing timely, accurate and relevant research and predictive analysis for the German market.

Katya brings to Mintel over seven years of expertise in market research and the grocery industry, having worked for IGD and METRO Group before joining Mintel. Her comprehensive knowledge will help Mintel’s clients to identify and explore the major trends across various FMCG categories and will provide them with insights needed to successfully navigate the German market environment.

Julia specialises in delivering insights on issues affecting the German market, performing analysis across a range of food and drink categories. Julia joined Mintel in 2009 as a Trend and Innovation Consultant, responsible for providing tailored product innovation analysis and support primarily to Mintel’s German speaking clients. Before joining Mintel, Julia spent five years in the food industry, gaining valuable experience in fields including demand analysis and export account management.
