Mintel launches new animation

Today (Thursday 10 November) Mintel has announced the launch of a new animated video to showcase the breadth of expertise it can offer to its clients to help them ‘know their consumer’. Titled”Because we are Mintel”, the animated 2min long video seeks to promote the depth of work undertaken by Mintel as a global organisation and what it can offer its clients.

Alistair Vince, Director of Marketing and Product Development at Mintel, said:

“Mintel has changed so much in the last five years – we’ve expanded our knowledge of the consumer through extending our data sources, leading to more analysis and innovative ways of displaying and showcasing what we have found. This 2 min animation explains what we do in a fresh, playful and absorbing way to show where we have moved to, and why. “

Featuring the musical composition of Sam Johnson (from Lucky Elephant) and animated by independent film agency Gutsy, the video is available in seven language versions – Italian, English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and multi language – the majority voiced by Mintel’s international team.

Sam Johnson, composer, said:”The animation and musical accompaniment captures the sense of Mintel growing over the last 40 years, as well as underlining all of the product and delivery advances that are highlighted in the voice over. The music has been created to build in the same way that we have built on our expertise over our company history – and communicate this audibly with our audience. A huge array of internal hidden voice over talents were unearthed during the making of the video – leaving us with a full compliment of beautifully translated videos. “
