It is a coenzyme Q10 analogue that is naturally present in the human body and has stronger antioxidant and free radical scavenging capabilities. According to Mintel GNPD, Hydroxydecyl Ubiquinone remains a relatively niche ingredient and has shown a small increase in usage in skincare products in the past five years. Skincare products containing Edaravone are mainly for facial/neck care and eye care, with a focus on anti-aging and anti-wrinkle claims.
