Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?
As far as professionals go traffic wardens, estate agents and politicians do not enjoy the best of reputations. But latest research from MINTEL finds that when it comes to fair play, pension companies and investment managers are just as unpopular with British consumers today. When asked who we consider ‘fair’ amongst professionals and organisations pension companies (7%) and investment managers (4%) languish at the bottom of the pile in the company of traffic wardens (7%), estate agents (5%) and politicians (4%). What is more, both financial advisers (12%) and insurance companies (10%) were ranked only marginally higher but still below accountants (14%) and lawyers (14%) in the fairness league table.
