Pendant la récession qui s’annonce au lendemain des semaines de confinement, les comportements et attitudes du consommateur français vont évoluer, créant de nouvelles attentes en termes d’aliments et de boissons.

Le consommateur, réévaluant le rapport qualité/prix en période de crise, a plus que jamais besoin de transparence et de conseils de la part des marques. Celles-ci doivent communiquer sur l’ensemble des bénéfices et avantages de leurs produits au-delà du simple prix. En même temps, le consommateur va s’accorder des « petits plaisirs » pour garder le moral.

La pandémie de COVID-19 va renforcer l’intérêt que le consommateur porte à sa santé à court et long termes. La pandémie va aussi  amplifier le lien que le consommateur perçoit entre sa santé personnelle et celle de la planète.
