We’ll also look at certifications in the homecare product industry, their influence on consumer decisions, and the need for simplicity, standardization, and the development of sector-specific labels to better guide consumers, particularly in relation to climate-friendly products.

Finally, we’ll explore the changing competitive environment and especially the relationship between market leaders and eco-niche challenger brands.

Jamie is an expert in competitive intelligence and strategic thinking. He has over 20 years of experience leading projects for domain expansion, M&A, open innovation, competitive response, and strategic early warning. As an associate director focused on global household and personal care, Jamie uses this background to identify category-level trends allowing clients to think further ahead and develop more future-proof innovation, marketing, and portfolio management strategies. Before joining Mintel, Jamie spent 12 years with Kimberly-Clark Corporation’s Enterprise Growth Incubator, seeking out new product concepts and partnership opportunities for the Huggies, Kotex, Depends, and Kleenex brands.
