COVID-19 has shrunk the consumer’s wallet of discretionary spends such as beauty and makeup. Further pandemic led restrictions such as fewer social outings and mask wearing has limited the usage of makeup items esp. consumer favourites like lipsticks. However, this presents an opportunity for eye colour cosmetics. In this session, we will look at consumer’s attitudes towards beauty and makeup and what can drive relevance for the eye makeup category
