Insight not intuition: how to find out what your target audiences are really thinking and doing

Mintel is hosting this event organised by the Social Division of the Chartered Insitute of Marketing where three experts in consumer research and communications will delve into the importance of insights when it comes to defining the charities’ audience and especially donors, volunteers, supporters, beneficiaries and customers.

Jack Duckett, Associate Director of Lifestyle at Mintel will present the different tools that charities have at hand to better target their audience. Right after this introduction by Jack Duckett, Sarah Fitzgerald, Director of the strategic consultancy at Self Comms will delve in their experience working on strategic plans for several charities; and, finally, Jess Day, from ‘Let Toys be Toys’, a very successful campaign that was launched by a team of volunteers, will focus on how the audience-focused approach was fundamental to the campaign’s success.

The event will start at 6:00 PM with registrations and will end at 9:00 PM.
