Consumer demand for tasty, better-for-you options has led to the creation of the permissible indulgence space. And as snacking occasions continue to rise, frozen snacking is experiencing a surge in demand as the frozen novelties category meets consumer demand for health and taste.

With the growing demand for permissibility, Yasso and Mintel have recognized the growth opportunities for frozen snacking and have identified how consumers define permissible indulgence, what they are snacking on, and where this is likely to lead in the future.

This presentation details the rise of frozen snacking as a key driver of the overall permissible indulgence trend, and how consumers are behaving within this category.
