This year at Fi India – taking place from 30 August to 1 September at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR Mintel at its Stand No. 5.122 will explore the different strategies taken by food and drink companies around the world that revolve around fat, salt and sugar reduction, including key learnings for players in the India market.

Get Farmed! Fava Beans Supersnack, Australia

The Get Farmed! Fava Beans Supersnack is tossed in sunflower oil and lightly dusted with salted fava beans that contain protein, carbohydrate, fibre and essential nutrients. This snack is made with hand-selected ingredients, features a five health star rating and is said to be free from nut, gluten, dairy and GMO.

Turci Firenze Miosal Table Salt Spray, Croatia

This product is made with Italian rock salt and is said to provide more taste and less sodium. The product features a dispenser that can help control daily salt intake. It comes in a 140ml pack providing 700 sprays.

Sipahh Milk Flavouring Straws, Australia

Sipahh Milk Flavouring Straws contains 50 straws that come with ten flavours to choose from. The vegetarian product is portion controlled for everyday consumption with less sugar (only two grams per straw) and claims to be free from milk, artificial colours, flavours, and preservatives.

Artisan Palate All Natural Onion Garlic Chilli Pepper Himalayan Pink Salt, India

The Artisan Palate All Natural Onion Garlic Chilli Pepper Himalayan Pink Salt is said to add a zing to any marinade. The vegetarian product contains no added colour, preservatives, or MSG and retails in a 150g pack that features a recipe suggestion.

Leaf Garden Infusión Natural Red Fruit Infusion, Mexico

This drink is made with strawberry, raspberry and blueberry – fruit that claim to be rich in antioxidants and free from calories, colourings and sugar. The product claims to be low in sodium, has been sweetened with stevia, and retails in a 400ml bottle.

Mr Kipling Viennese Whirls, UK

Mr Kipling’s Viennese Whirls is a vegetarian product that is said to contain 100% natural flavours, and is free from artificial colours and hydrogenated fat. The product comes in a newly designed recyclable pack, containing six slices of shortcake swirls.

Clif Bar Nut Butter Filled Peanut Butter Filled Energy Bar, US

This energy bar is a USDA organic and a kosher certified non-GMO product that claims to below low in glycemic index.
