Mintel joins the expert stage at ISM Cologne, the biggest trade show for sweets and confectionery, on 25 April 2023.

In this presentation, Associate Director Mintel Food & Drink, Katya Witham, will take a deep dive into the trends influencing the sweets and snacks industry. She will present how sustainable practices such as regenerative farming, upcycled innovations and the wise use of resources gain even more importance moving forward, and what role technology can fulfil to support this endeavour. Another big topic in this session will revolve around permissible indulgence and what brands can do to support consumers’ health priorities, while allowing them to treat themselves.
